    (find pred x &opt dflt)

    Find the first value in `x` that satisfies `pred`. If not found, 
    return `dflt` if given, or `nil` otherwise.

    `x` can be a bytes, indexed, dictionary, fiber, or abstract type 
    with suitable `get` and `next` methods.
